What do we do?

What do we do?

Through the Financial Coalition, members are taking a clear stand against all forms of sexual exploitation of children. An important part of the work consists of impeding and preventing the purpose of images of assaults on children. The Financial Coalition members cooperate with the Swedish National Criminal Police and ECPAT with the purpose of stopping the trade in child pornography where transactions are made through the financial system.

The Financial Coalition works in preventing and impeding transactions which pertain to this kind of payment.

Membership in the coalition entails taking an active stand in which one increases awareness of the problem with the purpose of being able to contribute to the preventive work within the coalition. Both internally and externally, one is clearly renouncing this problem and informing employees and customers of this, as well as implementing guidelines against the child sex trade in the company.

Membership also entails preventing payments for child-abuse materials through the financial systems in cooperation with the police, and to take part in reconciliation meetings and work groups in the coalition in order to develop new solutions that prevent this kind of crime.
